When should I not use the POSIFORLID® eye mask?

Moist heat can exacerbate certain forms of eczema. If your eczema symptoms get worse, we recommend that you contact your doctor.

  • Glaucoma: When treating glaucoma one should avoid putting too much pressure on the eyes. If you have glaucoma, do not pull the elastic strap too tight or place the mask on your eyes without using the elastic strap.
  • If you have undergone cataract or glaucoma surgery within the past month, you should take care when massaging the upper eyelids. Ask your eye specialist before using the POSIFORLID® eye mask.
  • Do not use the eye mask if you notice that it is leaking or damaged.
